30 Dec Auld Lang Syne

Well 2011 is coming to an end. Good bye or good riddance. I guess it depends on the person. There were some really atrocious things that happened in the world in 2011.

A nuclear reactor was damaged during a tsunami in China and many lives were lost.

The global economy continued to spiral out of control, and here in the US unemployment has been at an all time high.

There were some good things globally as well, like that Osama Bin Ladden was killed, the war in Iraq is finally over and our troops are coming hoe,

Black Friday and cyber Monday surprised many when the American people went out and shopped till they dropped!

I had a personal atrocity happen, my right eye was detached from its retina. After four very costly laser surgeries my sight was only partially restored.

On a positive note, my sight was partially restored.

But as this year comes to an end, I am very excited about welcoming a new year, a new beginning. I am extremely excited because of the new phase that the internet is entering. We are truly in the digital age.

There is much money to be earned with local, social and mobile marketing. The prediction is that more people, especially young people, will stop using desk top computers and migrate more toward mobile devices. Ipod, Ipad, Blackberry, Iphone, Droid, tablets, smart phones etc.

My company, Viral Associates is poised to finally be in the black! Yey, so as we bring in the new year and wave good bye to the old lets cherish the new years melody I grew up with… Auld Lang Syne, HAPPY NEW YEAR, may 2012 bring you health, wealth and joy.
